Music at Tresanton 2015Artistic director - Noam Greenberg
Thanks to all who came to listen to our 2014 Wind festival, it was a very exciting weekend of concerts for all involved! If you had missed the Sunday concert, or would like to hear it again, tune in to BBC radio 3 between 13-16 January when the concert will be broadcast as part of a series of lunchtime concerts featuring festivals from the south west, daily at 13:00. We are at the moment finalising our plans for next year's festival which will be dedicated entirely to the music of J.S.Bach including solo pieces, chamber music, concertos and orchestral works. The dates will be 20-22 November 2015. Full details of programmes and performers will be on the website very soon.
A bit of history -
In 2006 seven musicians gathered in the small village
of St Mawes, on the tip of the Roseland peninsula, to mark Schumann's
150th anniversary by playing through all of his chamber music with piano.
Since then Music at Tresanton has been offering annual programmes and attracting
audiences from the Roseland peninsula as well as from further afield in Cornwall and the UK, has been featured as one the Indpendent's top winter breaks, and has been frequently broadcast by BBC radio 3 as part of their lunch time concert series.
Tickets for individual concerts or subscriptions for all four (without accommodation) will also be available from the Hall for Cornwall
All inclusive offers are available from Hotel Tresanton including room, breakfasts, dinners and tickets to all concerts for the special price of £425 per person (sharing a double room). See our Booking Details page, or click here for our Booking Enquiry form.
If looking for accommodation other than hotel Tresanton in St Mawes why not try the B&B Nearwater
