Music at Tresanton
In November 2006 seven musicians gathered in the small village of St Mawes, on the tip of the Roseland peninsula, to mark Schumann's 150th anniversary by playing through all of his piano chamber music. Since then Music at Tresanton has been offering annual music programmes and attracting audiences from the Roseland peninsula as well as from further afield in Cornwall and the UK.
This year we are offering two music events - a spring mini-festival of mostly Brahms in April, and a winter festival focusing on the music of Debussy in November. Click on the links above for full details.
Come for a weekend of music in the magical and intimate atmosphere of the Methodist Chapel in St Mawes.
Enjoy Cornwall out of season with sunny days, empty roads, and uncrowded attractions.
Treat yourself: visit gardens in the spring, the Tate Gallery in St Ives, the Eden Project, walk the coastal path, explore the creeks and waterways of Falmouth Harbour, relax by a cosy fire with scones and clotted cream.
