Music Holidays

Treat yourself to an all inclusive classical music holiday at one of the UK's most elegant hotels.

The Chapel

All Music at Tresanton concerts take place in the St Mawes Methodist Chapel. This lovely Georgian Chapel was bought and elegantly renovated by Tresanton owner Olga Polizzi, and has a uniquely intimate atmosphere. It is situated on Chapel Terrace, a short (but steep!) walk up the hill from the St Mawes waterfront.

Music at Tresanton 2012

Artistic director - Noam Greenberg

Six years ago seven musicians gathered in the small village of St Mawes, on the tip of the Roseland peninsula, to mark Schumann's 150th anniversary by playing through all of his piano chamber music. Since then Music at Tresanton has been offering annual programmes and attracting audiences from the Roseland peninsula as well as from further afield in Cornwall and the UK, and has been broadcast by BBC radio 3 as part of their lunch time concert series.

The 2012 programme germinated with the idea of coupling Schubert and Mahler, the two great Viennese song writers, and has expanded to include music by other Viennese composers - Brahms, Zemlinsky and Berg.

All inclusive offers are available from Hotel Tresanton including room, breakfasts, dinners and tickets to all concerts for the special price of £385 per person (sharing a double room). See our Booking Details page, or click here for our Booking Enquiry form.

Tickets for individual concerts or subscriptions for all four (without accommodation) are also available from the Hall for Cornwall
